These include monitoring setting, database setting, range of PC-Monitor Agent, configuring SMTP server for sending email report, and setting for email reporting.

(1) Monitoring Settings of PC-Monitor Console:

 Interval of tracing frames: This parameter is the time interval for PC-Monitor Console to trace the screen snapshots from PC-Monitor Agents. The default value is 5 seconds. The range is from 1 second to 10 seconds.
 Interval of monitor frames: This parameter sets the time interval of retrieving snapshots from the agent computers when multi-monitoring is activated. The default value is 8 seconds. The range is from 1 second to 10 seconds.
 Interval of group turn: This parameter sets the time interval to change a group snapshots screen when multi-monitoring is activated. The default value is 60 seconds.
 Monitor rectangle size (n x n): This parameter sets the number of screens of computers with PC-Monitor Agents to be displayed in the group when multi-monitoring is activated. The default value is 2. This represents that a 2 x 2 array will be displayed. The maximum number is 4 (representing a 4 x 4 array).

(2) Database Settings:

 Collect data from agents in every___ minutes:
This parameter is the time interval for PC-Monitor Server to collect data from PC-Monitor Agents
 Delete logs:
This parameter sets the maximum number of days that log records will be kept. PC-Monitor will automatically delete the logs which have been kept for the specified number of days.
 Delete applications report:
This parameter sets the maximum number of days that application reports will be kept. PC-Monitor will automatically delete the reports which have been kept for the specified number of days.
 Delete web sites report:
This parameter sets the maximum number of days that web sites reports will be kept. PC-Monitor will automatically delete the reports which have been kept for the specified number of days.
 View logs once no more than ___ records:
This parameter limits the number of records to be retrieved when viewing logs. This helps to reduce the retrieval time, especially when records are numerous.

(3) Searching Range of PC-Monitor Agents
If computers with PC-Monitor Agent installed are located in VPN of a remote location or the computer with PC-Monitor Server is not located in the same network segment, PC-Monitor Server will not be able to identify the PC-Monitor Agents automatically. To solve this problem, you can manually set the IP address range of the relevant PC-Monitor Agents.

You can add a single IP address or an IP address range of PC-Monitor Agents and PC-Monitor Server will search all IP address in the list to find agent computers that are not in the local area network. (Please note that numbers of IP address in an IP address range cannot exceed 1000.)

(4) Configuring SMTP server for sending email report
[Note: This function is only available in Enterprise version]
If you need to receive email report, you should first configure the SMTP server settings:

 Email address: The email address used when sending email by PC-Monitor Server
 SMTP Server: SMTP Server used to send email.
 Username: Username of the account from which the mail is sent
 Password: Password of the selected account
Click the Test button to validate the settings.
(5) Configuring Email Reporting:

If you are using an account that is not the built-in “admin” account and has right to receive email report, the Email Report tab will be shown in the option interface and you can configure email reporting parameters:

 Email address: The email address to which the report will be sent
 Html/Text/Excel: Format of the email report
 Encrypt: This setting specifies whether email sent will be encrypted or not
Status report settings include:
 Send in every __ seconds: Turn on this option to receive email status report in every fixed time interval.
 All: Turn on this option to receive email report at any time
 From ___ To ___: If you decide not to receive email report at any time, please set the starting time and ending time so that PC-Monitor Server will only send you email reports from the starting time to the ending time only.
Operation Report settings include:
 Applications: Turn on this option to receive application reports
 Web Sites: Turn on this option to receive web sites reports
 Today/Yesterday: Select to receive either report for current day or report for previous day
 Time: Time to send operation reports
