PC-Monitor Server stores and manages the data gathered from all computers with PC-Monitor Agent installed. For security reasons, only one computer or server computer can operate PC-Monitor Server so that any unauthorized PC-Monitor Server can be easily detected. If you start up an extra PC-Monitor Server when an authorized PC-Monitor Server is already operating within the same network, the system will give a warning message informing you that there is already an PC-Monitor Server running in the network and stop the latter PC-Monitor Server from running. The main operation of PC-Monitor Server includes starting up, stopping and closing the Server, backing up data history and setting options used by PC-Monitor Server.
1.Starting, Stopping and Closing PC-Monitor Server
After installation, PC-Monitor Server should be started automatically whenever the Windows is started. You can Click PC-Monitor Server from the program folder in the Start menu to start PC-Monitor Server manually.
If another PC-Monitor Server is already running within the same network, the system will report to user about the IP address of the operating PC-Monitor Server and exit.
