My computer has installed
an WinManager Agent. Will it affect the operation
of other functions?
WinManager Agent is running in the background of
the operating system. The system uses a proprietary
format which helps to minimize the resources usage
by WinManager Agent. As a result, the impact of
the operation of WinManager Agent on the other system
operations is minimal.
Is it possible
to remove WinManager Agent after installing it?
Since WinManager Agent is embedded into the core
of the operating system. As a result, WinManager
Agent cannot be removed.
As we cannot
remove WinManager Agent after installation, how
can we manage it?
User can use WinManager Console to real time monitor
and check the status of operation of the computer
which is installed with an WinManager Agent, and
to control or uninstall WinManager Agent as and
when necessary.
Is the file
size of screen snapshots of WinManager very large?
WinManager applies high efficient data compression
Technology. The system will capture the screen
snapshots only when there is a change on the screen.
The storage space needed for 1 hour is around
4 MB.
What should
I do if WinManager Agents' name is missing on the
Agent List after the installation of WinManager
You should first check whether the agent computer
has any network problems.
Next, see whether WinManager Server and WinManager
Agent are in the same network.
Lastly, check whether the number of WinManager Agents
added exceeds the maximum of WinManager Agents designated
for a particular WinManager Server.
I want to
remote monitor WinManager Agent. What should I do?
Install WinManager Remote Switch in the computer
which is connected to the LAN where WinManager Server
and Agents located.
Allow Remote Switch to access Internet in order
to receive the request from Remote Console.
In the Remote Console, enter the IP address of
Remote Switch and remote monitoring is enabled.
